Cool the Earth
Cool the Earth offers a turn-key program that educates students and their families about climate change and inspires them to take simple actions to reduce carbon emissions. The program, for K-8 students, is run by parent or teacher volunteers outside of class time.
There are four main components to the award-winning program:
1. Kick-off assembly - This fun event empowers kids to take action. Ther school's teachers are the actors with Cool the Earth providing scripts, costumes and support.
2. Action Coupons - Students receive a booklet with 20 easy, energy-saving actions they and their family can take.
3. Actions of the Month - these events engage students in a specific action providing hands-on activities and more in-depth energy information.
4. Measuring Success - coupons are tallied and tracked on a banner displayed on campus demonstrating the value of community action and that every action counts!
Cool the Earth is offering the program free of charge to ten Kansas schools during the 2009-10 school year.

Listen and Learn Educational Services
Listen and Learn Educational Service designs and creates learning tools and environmentally friendly curriculum for children 5-8 years of age. We engage learners by asking them to use their senses when gathering information, particularly as they interact with the natural world. Ernest Hemingway believed that this strategy was a precursor to quality learning and skill building, especially as it pertains to literacy.
Listen and Learn offers materials and helpful information through its website publication. Here educators will find and array of items: books, articles, DVD's and music, lesson plans, activities, etc.

Elements of Green
Elements of Green was created in order to make an impact in our community by simplifying access to the sustainable building product stream in the Midwest and to provide a social networking venue for the discussion of environmentally sound building practices. We are passionate about responsible management of our earth’s resources and the use of these resources in the building, remodeling and finishing of housing and commercial buildings. While the availability of products is becoming more prevalent green washing by the manufacturers is also more prevalent; therefore we commit to research finish materials and building systems in order to validate each products claim and bring you the best products we can find. We commit that we will offer you choices and then tell you about the differences between then. If we offer two recycled glass tile products for instance and one is made by a company that makes no other efforts to be green while the other produces their tile in a day lit factory using wind and solar energy while reclaiming all the water used in production, we want you to know these differences.
What sets Elements of Green apart is our hands-on experience, our ability to coordinate installation services, and our commitment to finding the highest quality materials for your project. Overall, Elements of Green is a company that is dedicated to providing unique, high quality products and backing them with service equal to the products. We believe that ‘going green’ is more than a trend, it is a necessity. We look forward to working with you when you are ready to build, remodel, refurbish or finish green.
We can voluteer to discuss sustainability and specifically products built from recycled materials or rapidly renewable content.
