New Beginnings is a provider of community services to adults with developmental disabilities in Neodesha, Ks. Part of the day program is a document destruction business called DocuShred. Adults with developmental disabilities are provided work oppotunities like picking up condfidential material for shredding from local banks and businesses, paper at local schools, and cardboard from local businesses.

Free services/products to be provided to schools: 

As part of its day program offerings to adults with developmental disabilities, New Beginnings picks up school paper from Neodesha Public Schools (USD 461) every 2 weeks for free. The adults served at New Beginnings sort the paper and put it in cardboard containers for pickup. In 2011 USD 461 and New Beginnings helped remove over 20,000 lbs of school paper from the local landfill.
