Sign up your school here to take place in the "Long Haul", a rechargeable battery recycling contest open to all Kansas Green Schools. Participating is easy and prizes will be awarded to the top three schools.
Contest begins Earth Day (4/22/10) and continues through America Recycles Day (11/15/10).

Governor Parkinson has issued a proclaimation establishing April 11-17, 2010 as Environmental Education week in Kansas. The proclaimation encourages Kansans to "learn more about our environment and work together to our natural beauty and resources for future generations."
