Governor Kathleen Sebelius signed an Executive Order on 13 April 2009 establishing the Kansas Coalition for Children and Nature.  The Coalition is charged with identifying barriers and recommending ways to get more kids outside.  Ten Convening Organizations lead the Coalition, and three Working Groups are currently being formed.  If you would like to be involved, please contact one of the Working Group Leaders:
