Recycling--Biology and Green Team collects recyclables from classrooms and offices for collection. Cycles in Biology--Carbon, Hydrogen, etc Cycles. 3. Composting -- Biology incorporates composting in its Educational and Research Courtyard--biology cycles, fermentation, biodegradation. 4. Courtyard--Outdoor Education and Research Garden--this is incorporated into many different classroooms from Biology, Environmental Studies, Physics, Math, Art, Reading, Foreign Languages by getting things, putting things, or just enjoying the experience of reading in the garden. 5. Waste Management--seasonal cleaning of litter from the school grounds. 6. Weather Station--biology, environmental studies, and mathematics use this data in their classes. 7. Camping Trips--outdoor education and community service projects. 8. Water studies--How can we help our watershed? Water education, testing of Missouri and Kansas Rivers, local clean ups of Big Eleven Lake with BRWA and USGBC, rain gardens, rain barrels, and storm drain labeling with the United Government of Wyandotte County. 9.
