How are you incorporating your environmental projects into your school's curriculum?: 
The school has had an OWLS site since 1996, which the Environmental Club has managed. It is our plan for the Environmental Club made of students in grades 5 and 6 would continue to be a force in creating an awarness for being GREEN especially with the all school paper recycling program. In the past the lower grades have contributed to the gardens, but as the sponsor I would like to see all grade levels becoming more involved and make a greater effort to put Sunflower on the map as a Green School.
Accomplishments: 
Environmental Club twice monthly meetings Supporting of the OWLS site--creating a place for wildlife to live or to rest in migration Tagging of Monarch Butterflies for Monarch Watch Planting of more trees on the school grounds Participate in Environmental activities at the KC Zoo with the Blue River Stream Project Boy Scout Eagle Projects to support the gardens either by creating new gardens All school paper recycling through abitibi. Yearly assemblies to support the recycling effort not just with paper, PTA has a committee that support Environmental Education Info-mericals through the 6th grade morning announcements.
