Art, Music, PE and Counseling are working together to incorporate character education to help Hesston Elementary become a green school. Through several environmentally friendly activities we feel as though it can promote respect, responsibilty and citizenship to our students. Several times a month we will meet on Fridays---for Mean "Green" Swather Days---to teach mini lessons to students about the importance of caring for our school and earth.
