How are you incorporating your environmental projects into your school's curriculum?: 
We have a very active Character Education program and we are tying being green into our pillars of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, CARING, CITIZENSHIP, FAIRNESS and TRUSTWORTHY. We have also introducted Science into environemnetal issues by burying many items such as cups made from plastic and cups made from corn-to see at the end of the year which of these are the same or which things have "gone into the earth".
Accomplishments: 
Our night custodian says they are picking up 1/4 the trash, from classrooms, they did in the past. Our classrooms now have a little trash can and big recycling bin. We are getting so many comments from parents who say their children are very aware of what can be recycled and their house holds are starting to recycle. We have had to have another curbside recycling bin brought in to hold all of our recycling and the recycling that our families are bringing.
