How are you incorporating your environmental projects into your school's curriculum?:
We have a horticulture class plus Vo Ag that uses environmental projects. We do use some of Ag in the class room. The 2017/2018 school year we are planning: 1) enlarging the worm farm to about 18 square feet, 2) making 10 4 X 8 raised garden, 3) Starting a butterfly garden 4 X 8, 4) getting a 26 X 28 x 12 greenhouse, 5) starting a 5' radius Key-hole garden. We will be collection all paper and cardboard for the worm farm. using all grass, leaves and veggies for the center of the Key-hole garden. We will have a fall garden starting in Sept.
We have just started a raised fall garden. We are landscaping the school adding shade trees at the elementary. and high school. The chrysanthemum we planted last year are blooming now. We also installed a wind generator to have electric power for a pond to grow fish.
